Traditional

While big, smooth and modern is all that and then some I often prefer a large, creamy, no frills cake.. This year my hubby and his nephew/godson celebrated their September bdays together. Funfetti and 2 candles for Joey, 28 for Matt!

Margarita!! Margarita!!

On the same night as my mother-in-law's wedding another cake of mine partied only 2 doors down at a surprise 50th bday party! That was one crazy busy cake week!

VROOM!!! Surprise!

My hubby and I made this cake as a surprise for my step-father-in-law, it is modelled after his hot rod, as a grooms cake. He was pleasantly surprised and it was great fun!

A Happy Occasion

This summer my mother in law wed again, to a wonderful man who has suffered a similar heartache, we're so happy they found each other!

Mother-in-Law's Bday

This was for my mother-in-law's bday. My step-sister-in-law helped me with it, she wanted to try fondant. I really like it. Such a happy looking cake!

BOOM! Engaged!

For a fun Superhero Engagement party!

The 102 Degree F Wedding!

For my husband's cousin's wedding I made a 3 layer cake, 16 matching sheet cakes and 40 Cupcakes! It turned out to be a 102 Degree day, the venue's kitchen was the size of a half bathroom, had no A/C and the caterers had to also cook in it. But by the grace of wedding magic, the cake held up and it was a great late afternoon wedding.

My first wedding cake

This was a simple wedding cake I made for a friend over the summer. It was my first, it went off without a hitch and it was wonderful to have someone trust me with such a big part of their day. It was also GLUTEN - FREE! The bride has Celiac's Disease.
